We schedule dozens of field trips per year throughout Chicagoland - and sometimes further! Learn from some of the best birders in Chicago no matter your experience. We have some trips focused on beginners and some trips in Spanish as well.

Birds & Bytes

Started as a response to COVID, Birds & Bytes has stuck around and become a successful virtual series to bring a variety of interesting topics to our community from both local and global speakers.

Compelling Voices Series

Compelling Voices in Birding and Conservation is a slate of energizing and engaging presentations focused around birding and conservation. This special series features unique speakers with very different backgrounds and experiences in the birding community.

In-Person Programs

We schedule several free programs a year for our community to learn about a variety of bird-related topics from Big Years to international travel, photography and conservation.
