Date: Sunday, 9/13/26

End the daylight hours with a COS bird walk at Marquette Park. This hotspot packs diverse habitats including prairie, savanna, and wetland where we will search for migratory bird species such as shorebirds, flycatchers, and warblers. We will walk around the park’s lagoons in search of Chicago’s wild wonders as the sun sets. Birders of all experience levels and ages are welcome to attend.

Leader: Sammy Cabindol

Pre-registration is required. Please contact Sammy Cabindol (wildlifesammy@gmail.com) at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend or with questions.

Accessibility:

This trip is designed to be a slow-paced, social bird walk to take the time and enjoy sunset scenery. Total trip distance is approximately 1.5 miles.
