Chicago's many waterways are some of the best places to observe over wintering waterfowl, raptors, and other avian life. Join us as we conduct a blitz of some of the best spots on the Calumet River to observe this annual winter birding phenomenon. Beginning birders are welcome and extra binoculars will be available.
Trip will primarily be conducted via car caravan with very little walking. Please dress aggressively for the weather with multiple layers.

Dress for the weather. Based on the forecast, you may want to bring a heavy coat, gloves, and hat. Loaner binoculars will be available.
