6:00 pm - Explore the museum
6:30 pm - Richard Crossley talk, book signing to follow

Join COS and Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum for the must see, mid–summer event. Richard Crossley is the internationally acclaimed birder, photographer and award-winning author of The Crossley ID Guide series, which upended the traditional methodology of bird field guides. While working on The Crossley ID Guide: Waterfowl, Richard decided he needed to drive to the Arctic Ocean, northern Alaska – from his home in Cape May, NJ. In his talk this evening, Richard will share adventures he had on his 16,000 mile journey, while living out of a truck. With his thick Yorkshire accent, sense of humor and disdain for PC, Richard will chat about the incredible places he traveled and the inspiring people he met who changed the way he thinks.

Cost: Free, but RSVPs are required as seating is limited. RSVP and purchase books here.

Beverages will be available for purchase.
