Join COS for a spring walk through Labagh Woods to find some spring migrants! We will spot warblers up high in the trees, shorebirds in the pond, and walk the Weber Spur Trail too!

Accessibility:

Total trip distance is approximately 1 miles and will take place mostly on dirt paths, some of which have moderate inclines. The trail surface can be irregular with roots and other obstructions, and remain muddy for several days following rainfall.

Parking lot portable toilets are available.

Weather/Attire/Other:

Waterproof/water-resistant walking shoes are recommended. Dress for the weather. Long pants are recommended to protect against poison ivy and ticks.  Insect repellent is recommended as well

The exact meeting location will be emailed in advance to registrants. Free lot parking is available. LaBagh is accessible by public transportation via the Jefferson Park Blue Line and 92 Foster bus.
