Are you new to birding and want to start 2024 in some fresh, crisp air? This trip is specifically for beginning birders. We will focus on birding basics and identifying the most common birds in Chicago. Starting at entrance to the Farm in the Zoo, this trip will circle the two ponds near the southern end of Lincoln Park hoping that the ponds won’t be frozen so we can see waterfowl. The pond within the Lincoln Park’s Zoo often hosts wild water birds in its warmed pond.
