Art of the Owl Workshop

This 2-1/2 hour workshop will feature hands-on instruction for drawing owls in pencil. Participants will learn the basic elements of bird drawing and how to combine those elements into quick field sketches or more detailed drawings. The workshop will focus on creating original artwork by observing photographs and learning basic owl anatomy. Participants will discover their creative side with the help of a professional artist, work with high-quality materials, and learn fun facts about our native owls in the Midwest.

Class size is limited so please register to reserve your seat. All materials provided. This workshop is best suited for ages 18+.

About the Instructor:
Kristina Knowski is an artist and birder living in the Indian Dunes region. She graduated Valedictorian from the American Academy of Art and has taught numerous bird drawing and painting workshops for Indiana Audubon, Indiana Dunes State Park, Mississippi Coastal Audubon, and more.
