Curious to learn more about local bird species? Interested in becoming a birder but don't know where to start or how to get involved? Join experts from Chicago Ornithological Society at Big Marsh Park and the Ford Calumet Environmental Center for a crash course in all things birds, from the best field guides and apps, to choosing binoculars and where to look. By the end of this program you'll be looking to the skies with a fresh set of eyes and on your way to becoming the neighborhood bird expert.

This in person program is free but requires RSVP. Face coverings are required for all participants ages 2 and up in Chicago Park District Facilities
