Birds & Bytes: Rescue, Rehab, Release

Virtual Program

Join COS for a deep dive into the world of wild bird rescue and rehabilitation in the windy city.

Chicago is considered one of the most dangerous cities in North America for migratory birds. While many efforts are underway to make our city a bird safe one, the birds that fall victim the city’s hazards need help today. Enter the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors and Willowbrook Wildlife Center. These institutions, supported by a small but mighty army of staff and volunteers, rescue, rehabilitate, and ultimately re-release thousands of birds every year. Join from the comfort of your home as we hear from some of the people behind these efforts, what it takes to give rescued birds a second chance, and how you can help. Bring your dinner, your drinks, your questions!

All are welcome to attend this free event but RSVP is required.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
