Film Screening and Walk at the Museum of Science and Industry

  • Museum of Science and Industry 5700 South Lake Shore Drive Chicago, IL, 60637 United States (map)

Join the Museum of Science and Industry for a bird walk and screening of the new film Wings Over Water in the Giant Dome Theater.

Wings Over Water, narrated by Michael Keaton, tells the compelling story of three amazing bird species—the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler and the Mallard Duck—with extraordinary footage of their fascinating behaviors. All of them depend on the wetlands for their survival. Discover what people are doing to conserve, rebuild and protect wetlands and birds.

Join one of our Bird Count tours, included in the price of your Wings Over Water ticket, on October 22nd with a birding expert around Jackson Park. Jackson Park houses a wide variety of species which makes it the perfect spot for birding. Our bird experts will point out the different birds throughout the tour and share information about the unique species. There will be two tours: 10:30 and a 12:30 leaving from MSI. These tours are accessible and exciting for new and seasoned birders alike.
