Birds & Bytes: Building the Bird Safe City

For decades, birders have recognized the threat cities like Chicago pose to migrating birds. Chicago has the dubious honor of being declared the most dangerous city in the U.S. by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. After years of advocacy, policy work, and partner building, we finally passed a Bird Friendly Buildings ordinance in late 2020.

So what now? How do we take policy and action and build that bird safe city we’ve envisioned for so long? What does it take to make our buildings bird safe?

Join us for another episode of Birds & Bytes where we’ll hear from experts on what exactly it takes to make a building bird friendly and announce our new partnership with Feather Friendly to make taking action at home easier than ever.
