COS is going to lead three fieldtrips in September. We will have COVID-specific safety rules (masks will be required, participants must be 6 feet apart, no sharing equipment or carpooling) and we will limit the number of participants on the trip to five per leader. Depending on the outcome of these field trips and success of implementing the new guidelines, we will plan to implement further trips.

Join COS for a field trip to "underbirded’" Columbus Park with local bird trip leader Henry Griffin and COS’ aerin tedesco. Although fall migration's peak will be several weeks away, we can expect to find a variety of warblers, vireos, and thrushes, plus the usual hawks and herons that hang out in the park this time of year. Dress for the weather. We can expect to spend about two hours, but birders can leave whenever they need to.
