Join COS for an owl prowl through one of the best preserves in the Des Plaines River corridor. We'll be on the lookout for multiple species of owls during high mating and calling season such as screech, barred and saw-whet.
RSVP required! Limit 10 people.
Please dress aggressively for the weather with multiple layers as temperatures can drop rapidly after sunset and owling is frigid business. Trails are often unpaved and potentially muddy so sturdy footwear is strongly recommended. Flashlights permitted but not required.
This trip is appropriate for folks 13 years and up.
