Please join COS with Birds & Beers, for the Annual COS Members Meeting to elect the COS Board of Directors. The Birds & Beers gathering will take place with this COS gathering on DECEMBER 7, 2017, 7pm, at The Piggery, 1625 Irving Park Road, Chicago. 

This 54th gathering of Birds & Beers, if it is anything like last year's gathering with the COS Members Meeting at the Piggery, will be rambunctious and lively. Feel free to arrive at 630pm to have a beer or grab a bite to eat ahead of the "meeting," in the back room of the Piggery where we met last year. After the COS members have gathered, we will hold the COS Members Meeting to vote for the Board, and recognize a few folks for their contributions to avian based conservation in our area. WE PROMISE TO KEEP IT SWIFT. 

The Birds & Beers gathering will then continue after the COS voting and awards, and if you haven't had dinner by then, please dig in. I can personally recommend the food at the Piggery. 

Of course we want as many COS members as possible to attend, BUT ALL ARE WELCOME to join us; birders, bird interested people, nature lovers, or the significant others and spouses of the above who like beer and great conversation. As always, our gatherings are friendly affairs open to all like minded "beer drinkers with a birding problem," and their friends. 

So come PIG OUT and join COS with Birds & Beers on Thursday, December 7th, for a regualar ole Birds & Beers gathering in a good ole neighborhood bar as soon as the COS meeting and awards presentation has swiftly concluded.
